Hi, my name is Michelle and I’m a recovering DIYer.
I’ve spent months planning a child’s birthday party. I’ve spent hours painstakingly punching out unicorn confetti. If all of those mom’s on Pinterest can do it why can’t I? Do you ask yourself that? Well my friend, 9 times out of 10 those mom’s on Pinterest are either party bloggers and do it for a living or they’ve spent thousands of dollars to hire a party planner to do it for them. Then they hop online and say “oh, it was so easy!”
Lies, all lies.
That’s where parties i heart comes in. Parties i heart fills the gap between spending months DIYing for a party and spending too much money hiring an event planner (for a children’s birthday party!). Don’t worry, I got you boo.
What is a mother’s most valuable resource (besides love)? That’s right, the answer is time. Between the piles of laundry, the dentist appointments, kids home sick from school, and oh yeah all that darn cooking (and then cleaning up after the cooking), who can find the time?
I am here to give you the gift of time. I’m going to make it easy for you by giving you a party plan for the party of your kid’s dreams. You don’t even have to think about what you need, I’ve done the thinking for you. Then I’m going to show you how to sit back and make all those beautiful, sometimes hard to find, often handmade, party supplies show up at your doorstep.
Super short on time? As I publish parties I’m including them in a section called “Parties by Lead Time” for those moms who are really short on time (like me, I’m raising my hand!). Only have one week before your party? Check out the 1 week lead time section.
Now that you’ve found me, don’t let this opportunity pass you by! Make sure to subscribe to my email list on the home page right under the picture of my smiling face 🙂
3 fun facts about me:
I heart tennis. This year, the first year both my kids are in school full-time, I joined a tennis cup team and play doubles matches every Friday. I’m not gonna lie, I play to win.
The only show I watch on a regular basis (not counting binge watching Ozark on Netflix) is a British soap opera called Coronation Street. Do you like Coronation Street too? Email me, we can be bezzie mates!
I heart coffee, like in copious amounts, but I’m almost always trying to quit. I should really just stop being a quitter, they never win.
